Churup Mountain Hotel has a total of 8 rooms, 1 dormitory and a yurt for yoga, relaxation and meditation. Our beautifully landscaped garden, has a babbling stream that runs into a small pond making a home for our ducks.
WIFI
There is wifi at the hotel in the common areas, but given our location the connection is not as fast as it is in the city.
ELECTRICITY
Our hydraulic turbine provides the hotel with 100% sustainable energy, however it is possible that due to our setup there may be the rare power cut. All rooms have 24hr lighting and electricity.
CASH
Please bring cash as there are no withdrawal facilities after leaving Huaraz. We accept both Peruvian Soles and US dollars. You will need cash for taxi transfers to/from airport/bus terminal, trailheads and local guides.
PETS
Unfortunately to respect all guests and maintain a peaceful environment at the hotel, we do not allow guests to bring animals to the hotel.
PHONE / TV
There is limited mobile phone reception due to our location. We do not have televisions at the hotel or in the rooms.

HOUSEKEEPING
Housekeeping is included in the room rate, and rooms are checked daily. As we are an ecolodge, the bedding is changed every 3 days. Please request fresh towels if you require.

We charge 8 soles/kilo & dry clothes in the open air to save energy.
FRONT DESK
We have a 24-hour front desk, 7 days a week.
WATER
All water at the hotel is drinkable and comes directly from the Cojup Valley.
The following Booking Terms and Conditions apply to all reservations made through the Churup Mountain Hotel website, and online booking system. Paid bookings are an agreement between Mountain Lodge Huaraz SAC and those persons making the booking and/or payment, not between any other parties.
Written notice of cancellation/modification is required to booking@churupmountainlodge.com. A full refund, less possible transaction fees, will apply to cancellations received until sixty two (62) days prior to arrival date, 2pm. The refund process may take between thirty to sixty days to be completed. Full credit, for the USD$ amount will be made for reservations cancelled sixty two (62) – fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date, 2pm. No refund will be made nor credit given for reservations cancelled fourteen (14) days or less prior to arrival date, 2pm. If the deadline date is a weekend or holiday, cancellations must be made previously. For “non refundable” reservations, there will be no refund for any reason whatsoever. Credit may not be applied for future stays over bank holidays “feriados” or corresponding long weekend dates. Credit does not expire. We will do everything that we can to be flexible around date changes, even within 7 days of arrival.
Full payment is required at the moment of reservation, charge is made in American dollars. If for any reason your credit card failed, your booking may be automatically annulled.
Churup Mountain Hotel cannot be responsible for any loss or inconvenience beyond our control. We highly recommend you to buy Travel Insurance to cover unforeseen events and last minute cancellations, BEFORE you buy your international flights.
Children aged 2 – 4 stay for free, maximum two children per room sharing with 1 or 2 adults using existing bedding. If an additional bed is required, a supplement will be charged. A full board food supplement of $10usd per child in this age category is charged for food. Children aged 7+ are treated as additional full paying guest. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
International travelers are exempted from local sales tax on lodging. In order to be exempted, guests must present their original passport and entry stamp upon arrival at the hotel for verification and photocopy. Only original passports and documents are accepted due to legal restrictions to prove non-residency. In case the guest does not present the required documents or if his stay in the country exceeds 60 days from arrival, local sales taxes will be added to the original room rate and charged in local currency (Nuevos Soles) at check-in. If payment is not made upon reservation, Peruvian residents will pay local sales tax, in local currency (Nuevos Soles), at check-in.
Price includes: Breakfast and 3-course dinner with unlimited spring water, tea and coffee.
Check In: 14:00 hrs. Check Out: 11:00 hrs. You are welcome to use the communal areas, if you arrive early or before you take your onward transport. Early Check In/Late Check Out is subject to availability at no extra charge. If you wish to secure early check in or late check out another day must be paid less 70usd for unconsumed food.
